If you've stumbled on to this page because you needed baking inspiration then you've come to right place. I want to give you the right recipe that works and that is also easy to follow.
I also want to make it possible to get your kids involved, as I know from experience baking with kids can be a very wonderful and special thing. I am a mum myself and know it can be difficult to get the kids away from the much more tempting screens.
Being able to bake is a wonderful skill to have and once you master the basics people will be very impressed by the bakes you have created!
I started baking when I was 10, but I've always had an interest in it, because my mum is a very good baker, terrible cook, but brilliant baker. So I spent a lot of my time watching her bake beautiful cakes. And I was hooked the first time I baked the first cake on my own, which was a chocolate cake for my 10th birthday.
